Salvation Wild Mustang Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 that cares about Wild Mustangs and Burros quality of life. We save Wild Mustangs and Burros that have been rounded up from their homes on public land by the Bureau of Land Management.  Many of these horses and burros are ending up at auctions or in kill pens. If the price demanded to save them is not paid the majority will ship to Mexico or Canada for slaughter. With the help of donors, adopters, and caring individuals we have saved, or helped save over 500 wild or trained Mustangs and several burros from kill pens, and auctions. 

We have mustangs and burros in Kansas, New York and Oklahoma that we have saved from kill pens, auctions. owner surrender or any high risk situation. The gentled or already trained mustangs are placed with approved adopters. The mustangs that wish to remain wild are placed at our Kansas sanctuary.
